So I still do not really write here anymore, since I have too much to do keeping up with mermaids, and I admit I am a bit behind in that regard as well. ![]()

I guess it has to end somehow other than just what it said about the letter Z. I could have done without the last line, but I suppose it could generate opportunities for kids to express themselves, although I think the rest of the book could instigate discussion without it. ![]() The contents teach the alphabet and also cover, and probably often introduce, many careers leisure pastimes, and various activities. The pictures are cute and attractive, and I was struck by the wonderful colors used throughout. There are big uppercase letters in vivid (though not overly bright) colors, and a lot to view on each page. ![]() The peas are cute, the illustrations are fun, and I love that “We’re readers” represents the letter R. Most pages have more than one activity per letter. The concept is that peas have a variety of jobs and activities that start with A through Z. This is a very cute alphabet book, suitable for the youngest child all the way up to early elementary school age children. ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I became their maid.Įvery day more than half a million people tune in to watch my show. My heart also broke a little for each of them and their family battles, social battles and what the future may hold. My heart and mind warred with each other over Max and Wes, what would happen, would Jane get one? Which one? I was fully captivated by the relationship and the dynamic between the three of them. There is an undeniable push & pull feeling when reading this book. ![]() With just enough suspensful back ground action to keep the story flowing, The Anatomy of Jane is addicting. A blistering connection JUMPED out of this book and GRABBED me.įrom page one Amelia sets a story that lights up every part of the reader. Jane, Max & Wes are a total match made in heaven. The Anatomy of Jane so, so sexy, so sinful, I literally BLUSHED and FANNED myself SO MANY TIMES! This has to be the hottest book I’ve read all year. ![]() ![]() They are raucous, boozy bunches who, at the end of the day, are selfless and heroic. The group of characters that surround the fictional Fry is also notable. Though Orringer was taken to task by the novelist Cynthia Ozick in The New York Times for speculating about Fry’s homosexuality, she found ample evidence published in various biographies and offered by Fry’s son that despite being married twice and fathering three children, Fry was unequivocally gay. ![]() In the middle of this maelstrom is Fry’s fictional relationship with Elliot Grant the two were Harvard classmates in the 1920s. ![]() Her research is solid-for example, she meticulously traces the escape routes that people took through the Pyrenees on foot, by flight from Lisbon and by ship from Marseilles to Martinique.
